dianne’s Delights Logo | Graphic Design, Seattle

Had tons of fun designing a logo for a *sweet* start-up company, dianne’s Delights! The client wanted a logo that looked sweet and tasty. I’d say the calligraphy was pretty sweet and the colors are surely tasty! I first drew out the logo by hand and then brought it to the computer. See the sketch below.

The color study might’ve been my favorite part, I’m sad we can only pick one color combo, all the others were so wonderful. I got a sweet tooth just looking at them! Mmmm….

Loved the aqua + strawberry together, but I thought it needed a third color for contrast. I used a cream as an accent color for print pieces like business cards.

Baby blue + chocolate was a color combination the client wanted to try that could be a little bit less feminine. Although, I wasn’t sure that it did the trick.

Strawberries + chocolate was a way to bring the two previous combinations together, it created something a little more rich than the aqua + strawberry, and something more pleasing than the baby blue + brown. The cream was a perfect accent. Yet, it was still a little TOO bold.

The final color combination (coral + chocolate) did the trick! It was still sweet, tasty, rich, and very pleasing to the eye. This project was very fun to work on, I hope you enjoyed and were inspired by the delicious colors! I’ll keep you all updated on where you can find dianne’s Delights and try some of their sweets + treats!
